COMFORT
The 5.5 FlexLock EVO features a lighter SlideLock closure and new elastic collar for improved sealing, comfort and breathability, and a new one-piece front bellow increases flexibility. Inside, the redesigned two-section liner improves moisture management by combining lightweight padding with a water-resistant lower membrane.

MORE CONNECTION
A more consistent connection with the bike comes thanks to new rubber grip zones across the inner leg, ankle and lower shell. This makes for better grip and control during acceleration, braking or cornering, and also reduces weight.
A redesigned 3D bottom shell increases sensitivity through the footpeg, and the DualZone hardness sole provides the perfect blend of grip, durability and bike feel. The sole also features an extended footpeg zone to provide solid contact in multiple riding positions, backed by a reinforced steel shank for support and protection.

FIT
Small changes in boot geometry can make a big difference on the bike. For the EVO, we revised the ankle volumes to create a more precise and natural fit while retaining the 5.5's outstanding comfort – even for riders with wider feet!
The ankle is wrapped in 3DF impact foam for added comfort and impact protection, and the reinforced TPU heel counter provides stability and support. An anti-slip heel reinforcement keeps the foot locked firmly in place, and the low-profile toe box keeps shifting quick, precise and effortless.
PROVEN PREMIER PROTECTION
Of course, protection is at the core of Leatt’s ethos, and it’s also at the core of the 5.5 EVO. The FlexLock system allows riders to tune the lower-boot flex and control excessive sideways ankle movement, to reduce ankle forces by up to 37% and knee forces by up to 35% compared with other high-end boots.
Overflexion – the over extension of the ankle joint – is managed by the built in Case Control torsion blade, and a newly improved inner pivot assembly further refines controlled movement. There’s also extensive TPU protection across the shin, leg, ankle, heel and lower shell, to give a protective chassis built for the rigorous demands of motocross.
